    Wow! I would have never picked that pattern to start! You did a wonderful job on it. We all have a learning curve. You just jumped lots of steps I am still learning...no diamonds or triangles, yet. You were a very brave woman.

    Congratulations on finishing this project! Your quilt is lovely and the purple really makes the center and points of the stars grab your eye. Great color choices throughout!

    Thanks to all of you. I am heartened by your responses. I loved the pattern and never thought I couldn't make the top, it was "just sewing" after all and I'd been sewing for many years. Little did I know back then! I have since found out that I had a lot to learn! Lol

    It's stunning....bet you wished you had started with a cushion or a mug rug! You have such a beautiful quilt to show for all your work....look forward to seeing your next one.
