The old saying "oh what a difference a day makes" comes to mind on your quilt. Oh what a difference a border makes. This is going to be a beautiful quilt. Also with all the solids it gives the quilter a lot of room to play. Can't wait to see the finished product

The sashing is perfect, adds the pizzazz. I would use the sashing fabric as the outer sashing, then a solid (or solid appearing) blue, then a larger blue print that compliments, then the same blue in the binding. Ten years, you have more patience than I do. It was worth the wait!!
