What a nice quilt! I hope you are still okay. Was your school flooded?

Hope all is well. Your quilt is so well done - precision and beauty. Stay dry and safe.

I love your quilt, but what a sad time with the flooding. Stay dry and safe.

Yep, song is for the Texas/Oklahoma Red River. The movie with John Wayne was also about the Texas Red River. If I remember correctly, it's premier was in Denison, TX some time in the 1930s. I love old movies.[/quote]

I just watched that movie this afternoon.

Beautiful quilt. Love the border fabric. :-) :-)

love the quilt...I sent a picture to my DD, she loves hand pieced antigue quilts and she fell inlove with it. Good way to spend "flood" time

wow, lovely quilt. Sorry bout the flooding. saying p's for all those unfortunate ppl.
Wish I could go finish a project, but it's lightning here...i know, i am on a computer, but can't concentrate with all my jumping  hubby thinks it's funny though. I am not usually bothered by storms, just today for some reason. :D

Deb:
First, stay safe. Saw the flooding on Fox News. I am praying for all who are affected.
Second, Love the quilt and the colors. Why not try and quilt it yourself. You could do in the ditch. It will keep you from getting bored. GO FOR IT GIRL!!
I always do my own quilting, have from the first quilt I made (The picture is in my avatar). I do mostly machine quilting but also have done hand quilting. I think I love doing that as much as making the quilt itself.
