I would buy a few also, please let us know if he's interested. I would rather purchase from someone on the board and pay more than going to sewing stores to get. Thank you so much, they are beautiful.

What a handy fella -he does nice work I probably have a dz rippers some where Maybe he could add one of those nifty retractable key rings or dog leash for me

does he turn them on a lathe? My DH did that but no more crafts for him. boo hoo!

YES!! My dad was incredibly talented and my husband is the least handy man I have ever met. : (

Oh my goodness, I just love tools with wooden handles. I collect and use them a lot. Even my kitchen wooden spoons are all hand made by artisans(which I take care of properly.) I have large hands for a women and those tiny little rippers just make me mad! Definitely will buy one or two!! Looks a bit like stained birds eye maple. Please do encourage him to continue. Depending upon how long it takes him to make one, I would suggest $10-$12
