Well, I really like it. Your color choices are wonderful. It is bright but still pleasing and restful.. We are our own worst critics. Relax and keep on quilting!

I like it too. You will be surprised how different it will look to you after it is quilted and bound. It will probably be your favorite quilt.

Trade Winds for Bali Pops. First time I used jelly rolls and of course I failed to pick a contrasty enough fabric for the triangle.
I wondered myself, about using jelly rolls, although it does call for 2.5 strips. I do like it though. Very scrapy looking.

As for your points not matching - I don't see it. Stand back about 10 feet - if you can't see the points that don't match, they don't exist.
What a smart answer!! I totally agree...

I love the look of it. I know I have heard that once it is quilted you won't see any of those imperfections. I never believed it but I found it to be true. Give yourself a high five. It looks great!!!

The images won't open for me, but I just did two blocks of that pattern. The problem is that those long sides are on the bias. If you try it again, starch the fabrics and press very carefully after any stitching or cutting - do not slide the iron. I'm betting your quilt looks good. The motion in that pattern will hide any imperfections. I haven't made many quilts, either, so all these things are new to me, too.

I don't see any thing wrong with it. Once you get a board on it I bet you will like it too.

I think its beautiful. There is just enough soft contrast to make the darker colors pop. It looks artsy. =)
