I've never tried the pattern, but it is pretty. You can seen the contrast better from a distance than up close. Never fear. We all are learning with each quilt. Some always turn out better than others.

Love your quilt. No 2 quilts are the same. Did the quilt examiner come to your door? Chill and enjoy the fruits of your labours. xx

This quilt still has its merits! May not have turned out exactly how you'd like, but it's appealing to me in a "controlled scrappy" kinda way!

I agree with the other posts so far.....It looks great if you step back and look at it as a whole.....truly, you are beating yourself up needlessly. I will share (admit to you) I had this same problem with a sew n' go project we did last week. It was a twister table topper that used the same block. I think I finally detected that I may have pressed some blocks tooo, tooo, much thus distorting some of the squares just a wee bit. These being cut on a bias, don't behave well once you start "ironing" them. I tend to press the heck out of stuff a habit I'm trying to break. So......onwards you go....it's going to be soooo very pretty when done, I just know it!

As Eleanor Burns would say " If you can't see it when galloping by on a horse, then it is OK". It looks good to me, you are being too hard on yourself

I think it is gorgeous! OK, so you are not happy with the quilt, I have a suggestion send it to me, I love it. Just kidding. Give yourself a break, once you quilt it I bet you will love it!!!

It's a lovely quilt! We're all our own worst critics!
