Christmas came early for you. I would love to make a steal like that. I wouldn't know where to start sorting, my guess would be by color, with special piles for plaids, dots, stripes. Oh my, you have a job ahead of you. You go girl. I'm saving my money already for your sale.

Sounds wonderful.. I have spent nearly that much on fabric for a single quilt.. let alone a truckload!! Sounds like someone got fabric from a mill or clearance.. I've seen fabric like your scholls for sale.. from nike and other companies. if you chop it up all you'll see is bits of color on white.. no biggee.. have fun!!!

Thank you ladies! All I can say is wow. I am so in heaven. Fabric fabric fabric. There is so much fabric in each box. I found the fabric on craigslist. I am always in for a good deal. The son of a quilter was getting rid of his mother's fabric. She is over 80 and is done quilting. She was ready for it all to find a new home :) And home it found with me. Originally I was only going to buy 25 boxes as that was all I could afford. But when I got there the guy really liked me and the fact that hubby was military and with it being the day before veterans day he gave me all they had left. I guess her true love was being a seamstress. He said they had already gotten rid of at least 160 boxes of clothing material! He said he tried as best he could to separate out all the cottons. I have a ton of Christmas stuff that I am going to list this morning as we are getting close to the holidays so it can get some use. Thank you for all the wonderful praises.

How exciting for you, but what a lot of work. I truly need to start cleaning my sewing room so my children don't have to deal with it. I will keep what little quilting fabric I have, but a lot of the apparel fabric needs to find a new home.
