Red Hatter? As in like the Red hats? Aren't they usually red hats with purple? Is that what you are talking about or am I totally on the wrong track?

Thanks for the welcome. I really love this board; everyone is so friendly and helpful. I am learning so much as I am just starting.

I never thought I would hear myself saying this, but quilting is fun and it is something I can do now. Gives me a reason to get up in the mornings.

I am so happy for you. You've got a 'great' husband...

I love going through material. Every once in a while my mil gives me a box or 2 of material and I love to see what I get. (She is soon to be 91 and she is cleaning out her basement.)

So all in all not very much until now :) Some interesting finds in the first box. I just found about a yard of fab that is white with a bunch of purple circles with Dr Scholls written in the middle of it. Now why on earth would anyone even make fab like that let alone buy it! So many pretty things. I really want to go through everything tonight!
Maybe you could use some of the money from selling the unwanted to buy another shelving unit to put the rest on. I will be watching with eagle eyes for your sale ;)
