thanks you eveyone for giving me all the tips. I will have to look into getting some metal rods. So for its not carving in but im not that far yet either. I did find out one thing tho. It sure makes a big mess on the livingroom floor of all the strings. lol

just to show u its going slowly but its getting there and the more i do the better it looks, and i have added dowel rods to the side to help keep the side stright. dont know if this will work or not. That is part of the fun trying to see how i can make it work.

To take it off the loom, go to the corner, take off the corner one and one to the left or right of it (depends on whether you are left or right handed). Put on loop through the center loop and pull, keep doing this until you have all of the loops off. Your last loop you will have to use a piece of fabric to mingle it within the other part of the rug. Hope this helps.
