I love scrappy quilts, and your colors are bright and cheerful, but I don't know if my sanity would hold up with (finished) 1-inch 4 patches, lol. However, your Periwinkle/Arkansas Snow Flake/Kite quilt is absolutely stunning. It is on my bucket list, but so far have been too timid to attempt it.

Jump in with both feet! I'd like to say it's been fun but that would be a lie. When I first started them it was a blast to think I was doing it. At about block 100 it became a struggle to even look at them. I'm sure when it's finished I'll feel differently about the process. Good Luck!

Those are great quilts! I love the colors you've chosen. The red is just so cheery! Your quilting is gorgeous on the basket quilt, too.

Our Zukes are on their way out finally! Half of my freezer full of the stuff. We like to substitute zuke in place of potatos in homemade soups during the winter. Only 15 jars of cuke pickles. And the green beans aren't doing so well....kinda glad after these insane amounts of tomatos.

They all look great! I admire people who do the minis. Have you seen Sally Collins' work? She loves minis. I went to one of her lectures. I think she had been an engineer at one point.
