For the love of Purple...quilted by Charisma

There are quite a few purple lovers out there....Aren't there? I don't mind pruple but I happen to be a pink lover.
Susan made this for a graduate....the gal didn't want a girly old lady quilt. What? Why does that keep coming up? Do people think us quilters are all old ladies? Come on?
    LOL

Anyway..I quilted wavy lines and swirls in the big blocks...I think the simplicity of the designs...just come together so well...and I am impressed by it. LOL
Sometimes I think I over think things to much....and I am really happy with this quilt. So is Susan.
there is a sham and a quilt.

    Thanks for looking.

It looks very modern and chic. I love purple and the modern pattern and quilting really suit the fabrics. BUT then I'm an old lady so what do I know.

Love the simplicity of the quilting. It matches the design. I think you hit it dead on. Wonderful. I'm an old lady too and I love purple!!

    Charisma,
I'm always so impressed by how your quilting enhances the quilts. It's not about showing off what you can do, it is all about the quilt, what it needs. I sure wish I could afford to have you quit some of my tops.

    Susan,
Very nice quilt: simple and modern. Love the colors.

She'd have to wrestle my DIL for it... LOL! I, too, am a pink person but with a quilt as beautiful as this one, I could be persuaded to switch sides... STUNNING (as usual!!!)!

Well, I'd say your geometric designs certainly took away any "girly old lady quilt" look! ("...in the eyes of the beholder...") lol Great job in modernizing a beautiful quilt. I'm sure she'll love it. Thanks for sharing.
