Yesterday my DH and I went to see some friends who just opened up a sandwich shop. On the way back from lunch we made two stops, one a Thrift Store we had yet to be in and the second was St. Vinny's.

At St. Vinny's, I went one direction and my DH went another. He came to find me to tell me they had a quilting frame at the other end of the store. Silly me, thought to my self, uhmm a quilting frame, I really don't think he knows what he's talking about (even though he had promised me I could get a system when our house sells). We are in our 2nd week of escrow.

Boy was I surprised when I saw it sitting up there all taken apart on the shelf with a price tag of $150.00. I asked the clerk if it was all there and she showed me the bag it can with. I'm sooooooo excited - It got to come home with me. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Now, to shop for a machine. :D I told my DH the money we saved on the frame is just gravy for the stash department.

Actually there was fabric on the rails so I just loaded it up to practice with. Boy, oh boy, I can sure tell it is going to take a LOT of Practice.

Well! That is a gracie II from grace frames. You got a steal on it! Sew ans vac in texas (on line) sells the accessories for it if you are interested. Lucky you!

After looking at it, I am not sure which model this is. My gracie II is much larger than yours in the width.

Amazing. You are one lucky quilter. It's normal to throw away unassembled donations.
