When starting with 10 inch squares - what size do the blocks finish at?[/QUOTE
my blocks ended about 1/8 inch under 12 inches. They probably all should have come out to 12 inches but they were a little off. I ended up trimming mine to 11 and 3/4 being careful that the hourglass triangle in each corner stayed in the right spot for sewing the blocks together. When I sewed them together, the bias really helped to line up the colour changes and the hourglass corner triangles.

Thanks. I don't know if Jenny mentioned "finish size" or not in her tutorial.
[B]These are the blocks I did from Jenny's original 10 inch starting size. My lap top measures 34 X 46 1/2 inches and I will probably add a 6 inch dark blue border(need to purchase). I know a lot of people were lamenting the bias edges but they really helped me line up the little hourglass corner triangles.
Yours looks great! I have one started and the blocks are on my design wall. I'm using a fat quarter pack and didn't want a lot of waste, so I cut my squares at 8.5"....giving me a finished 9" block. I love it so far!! Easy and fun!
