very lucky that you get to help create the history of that quilt. Does it look like it's telling a story or is it a lot of things you think the person before you liked and thought were pretty? just wondering. Looks like you could have tons of fun finishing it up with you ideas.

Wow! What a gorgeous quilt, so colorful. So much work already has gone into it, it would be a shame not to bind it & show it off.

That is GORGEOUS. Very Lucky you.

I would probably add some echoing around some of the objects - add a border with some feather quilting and elements that somewhat match the appliques.
