Made a new "ironing station"
#1
trying to organize my sewing space and wanted a better ironing board. Spent some time at Lowes and came up with this...rolls right under my sewing table and has storage underneath!!!1
Just heavy duty plastic shelves...should have been 4 shelves but I made it into two rolling units...the other one has my embroidery machine on top and I stored all of it's thread and stabilizers underneath.
Looking forward to having 24X36 inches to iron on instead of my rickety old board. Gotta get some of that silver fabric to make a removable cover and I will be in business!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Laura

Great idea. I made one out of a wooden tv tray to take to retreats and classes. I went to a class the other day and didn't take it. Had to waste too much time waiting for the iron, I won't make that mistake again. LOL
