I also make tote bags and love those projects because they get done so much faster than a quilt. I especially like the pattern you used. Would you please tell me the name and mfg. or if it was free, where did you find it.

    Thanks so much.

    Hi Kat,
The pattern is called Bow Tucks and I found mine on Amazon for under $10.00 including shipping. There are two sizes you can purchase. I made the Mini Bow Tuck for this bag.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

    Great purse!

My granddaughter would love this! We are doing her bedroom in lime green, purple and yes, there is pink thrown in too. It's a little bright but everyone likes it - especially her.

oh how cute is this bag!!! I am one who doesn't know how to sew anything but a quilt.. seems silly, huh? I just never had a mother, or grandmother , or aunt, or uncle, or anyone, teach me.. So when I see bags, like this, or clothes, I wish I had learned.. oh well.. I am blessed by God to at least have taught myself how to sew a seemingly straight stitching seam, and with my scrappy quilting ( because its all I have to work wtih usually ), I love to quilt now as an adult.. Thanks for blessing your pastor's grandaughter with this adorable bag!
