My daughter and her little family were home visiting recently, and she had brought with her a quilt I made the summer she left for college (2003) and a pillow I had made at the same time. I never took pictures of these when they were first made. I was taking care of ill parents at the time. They seem to have lasted well through the years. I am glad to have some pictures of them. The quilt was made from Fat Quarters that she herself had picked out at a quilt show here in town. Her favorite color at the time was purple, she loved music and cats.

I love the way the fabrics go in a row diagonally. That looks sharp. The pillow is so fun too

Fabulous! Does it not feel so wonderful knowing how well they are holding up and most likely will for another 50 years or more.

Yes I am very happy that it is holding up so well.Especially since she now has a baby boy, that she most likely will be using it for him at times.

What a beautiful quilt! I love the way you worked the kitties into the bow ties! I love the pillows, too!
