I think that butterflies appliqued on it would actually make me like it more, but I don't know how to applique. I've only been quilting 2 years....plus, this isn't really my quilt. I need to remember that. I would feel better if my friend hadn't wanted to wait until the whole quilt was done before she saw it. I don't think I will agree to that again. I'll just send pictures and show as I go...if I do this again, that is. :)

In just reread the comments and I am jumping on the line how I am worrying too much. I certainly am. No more worrying, just get the quilt finished. :)

It is beautiful. Great fabric selection. Pattern is perfect to showcase the butterflies. I love it!

The quilt is lovely. Sometimes the "work" on a quilt gets in the way of the big picture. Doing small pieces and not see the whole, can obscure it's beauty. Put it together on your wall from time to time and try to see the finished top, if only in your mind. I find that helps me.

I went through the same thing! In fact, I procrastinated seriously, worried they might not like the quilt! By the time I got done I was just happy to see it go!

They really liked it, all is well.

The same here, you're doing great, don't let the "doubt" demons get you!

I love that pattern and want to make three of them for Christmas. You're doing a great job on it and I would just make what she wants.
Could you or someone else tell us the name of the pattern, Please? ;-) :-D
