    You are right the sashing really makes the colors pop! Beautiful quilt!

    Great guy's quilt! It's amazing what the gold sashing did to bring things together.. Last year, I used a gold sashing with Christmas fabrics and was surprised to see how it did the same thing.

    Awesome quilt, that gold pops all the colors. How big did it wind up being and how large were your blocks?

    I cut the squares at 9", so they ended up 8 1/2"; I think the final measurement was 86 x 86".
    I just packed it up and left it with Mom for a quilt show; and I don't have a copy of the application form with the details. Shame on me!

    I bet he will love it since he liked the fabrics in the first place. You are right the gold really sets off the other fabrics.

    I think this quilt is so pretty. I am fond of simple patterned quilts with pretty colors.
