You know something? Not every quilt has to be spectacular to be wonderful. This is a great quilt. Love the colors and you're right - the gold sashing really sets everything off nicely. It's a manly quilt. You know what helps to make this quilt great? You made it with love and your son is happy with it! That's what counts.

It looks like any man would love it. After 22 years and getting a new bed quilt, your son probably thinks he hit the jackpot. Love the sashing and how it makes everything pop.

I really like it. It's definitely my kind of quilt - simple pattern, easy on the eyes forever, goes with EVERYTHING. And I completely agree that the gold sashing makes the quilt.

Your son is a lucky guy.
