Perfectly stated. I second it!

Oh My! this cheater quilt is just beautiful!

I was looking on ebay for backing for a king sized quilt and looked up cheater quilts, there was some for 23.00 that were 90x108 and if I added a little boarder it would fit the back of this quilt I am making. It would be reversible too.

So I came here and did a search for cheater quilts to see if anyone used them for the a backing for there quilt and a few can up but they were all just used for practicing quilting, this one is beautiful.. I think it is a good idea what do you think about using a cheater quilt for a backing..Thanks

Next time say. 'Let me take that ugly rag off your hands......then do your magic, and its yours! LOL

No, just kidding, its a masterpiece. and THAT is no joke.

the quilt is beautiful! not a thing of negativity---cheating---at all
This quote is too funny! Cheating is not always a bad thing. I used cheat sheets all through college to study for tests. We say we cheated the odds when we accomplish a near impossible task. And a cheater quilt sounds better to me than saying a short cut quilt! LOL Now a phrase that sounds negative to me is when people say they spoil their grandkids rotten! I say if its rotten it gets kicked to the curb for pickup! Not something we do with those little sweeties! LOL "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet." I love your cheater quilt and I'm in total awe of your quilting skills!

I think using a cheater quilt for backing is great. I have purchased several for that purpose.

It's a real testimony to how much you enjoy the quilting process.
