Marine Quilt finished and named.

Thanks for your kind comments everyone.
I had intended this quilt to be a Christmas gift for DS but life got in the way. It is now for his birthday, WHICH IS TODAY!!!
He does not know I have made this for him so I have my fingers crossed that he will like it. Both he and his wife are keen on scuba-diving and also have a large marine fish/corals tank in their home.
Both our kids with partners will be here for lunch (its 9am Sunday morning here) so I am anxiously waiting to see his reaction.
bamamama - the patterns were from piecebynumber.com (Schools of Scrappy Fish).

WOW! I'm honored to have "my" name chosen. It's a beautiful quilt and if you ever tell him the story of how it got its name, please add in my birthday wishes and tell him that while I don't scuba, I do love to snorkel. If he's ever in the US during Nov-Jan, he needs to snorkel with the Manatees in Florida, their winter habitat. It's a most amazing experience!

teacherbailey -I will pass that info on to him along with your birthday wishes.
It's 5 p.m. here now and the family have just left. We have eaten and chatted the afternoon away and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
He absolutely loved his quilt, as did his wife. They are expecting their first baby in July (our first grand) and asked if a baby quilt was next on my agenda.
