It is an absolutely beautiful quilt and I'm in awe of your quilting! You know the quilting is spectacular when the back of the quilt is so gorgeous. You should be very proud of your work on this quilt. I'm sure the owner is going to be tickled pink. And thanks for letting me know that pictures were posted.

It's funny, when I first got my LA I wanted to do feathers more than any other thing so I practiced drawing them. I used up pads of newsprint drawing feathers and one of the early quilts I did all over feathers with flower motif tossed in here and there. Since then I have put loads of feathers on quilts. Now I can do feathers almost as mindlessly as signing my name. So proof that practice makes perfect! But I don't think I would go so far as to say my feathers are perfect. There are places when you get up close you can see I wasn't dead on in my back track. But I think the only quilter that is perfect every time on that is a computer.

Gorgeous quilt and quilting!! I wish I could take some lessons from you. I know absolutely nothing about ruler work. If I tried to do something like this, my lines would be wobbly and it would look like crap. YOUR work is awesome!

This quilt is amazingly beautiful! And your quilting is beautiful, too. She definitely should enter it in shows.
