    No, it is mostly ruler work. The curved cross hatch and all the ditch work I use rulers. Border, I drew the floral motifs and transferred them to the quilt with chalk transfer paper (saral type in white). The feather spine, I have a flexible ruler so I marked that. The feather plumes and the swirly bits behind the compasses are free hand with no marking.
