Default Mariner's Star - finished handquilting & binding

Seemed like many people liked my Mariner's Star wallhanging when I posted it a few weeks back when I finished piecing it. Well, I finished handquilting & binding it, and figured I'd share a picture of what it looks like finished. It's amazing to me how quilting totally changes the 'feel' of the quilt. I thoroughly enjoy the process of handquilting, and this is the first time I tried feathers. I'm kinda sad, in a way, because now I need to piece something else so I have a small project to take to the kids 'functions'.

Hope you are all having a great day.

Nicely done. You might try a whole cloth quilt ....no piecing only quilting
