Very pretty quilt. The border quilting is a lovely complement to your quilt.

I may be wrong, but I think soap slivers is a very traditional way to mark quilting patterns.....as is pencil

after my mom passed away and I was going through some of her things I found a bag with what looked like old cookies in it. LOL i after further inspection I discovered it was a bag full of old soap slivers that that she used to mark her quilts with.

I love using soap slivers, too. Good job!
