Default McKenna Ryan Wall Hanging

I just love all McKenna ryan's patterns, but very hesitant to have a go....But feeling brave after buying this pattern more than 6 months ago.
Am pleased with the outcome, seeing I only used fabrics that I had at home.
I am hanging it with pride in my entry down stairs.
Now have two more in mind as well.

Beautiful job! I love MR's patterns as well. I have a couple of her patterns just waiting for me to get the nerve to start them.

You've done a fabulous job on this Paula 153. I love McKenna Ryan's patterns too but am very hesitant about getting any. They are expensive aren't they. I love her Christmas Down Under and may save up for that for Christmas.
This will look lovely hanging in the entry, well done.

I bought the entire set of the "Home Tweet Home" as part of my Christmas....I have the first block done except for the applique" I don't hand applique" and am wondering if I can do the blocks justice with machine applique'. I have been doing machine applique' for years. so I'm not a newbie at this, but there are SO many tiny pieces, I'm afraid they will "overshadow" each other even with a very small satin stitch. I put it aside for now...haven't given up and will eventually do it, I'm sure. I just started another applique' group..."Affairs of the Heart"...and have 12 of the 36 blocks ironed/fused but not appliqued. More small pieces, but not like MR's.
How did you applique' yours, or did you since you are using it as a wall hanging?

Beautiful job. MR patterns are on my bucket list. Was it hard to do? Were the instructions easy to follow?
