I want to thank everyone for helping me. I will make the border and possibly put the samecolor strips between each row. Also around the edge of blanket.

Barf colored.. sorry but babies spit up sometimes and its a tiny bit cream colored and a bit more if formula fed. So those stains are HARD to get out I would chose something that has a bit of color to it that might hide it. Nothing like a mom to be practical but mine all were spitters.. the colors are nice otherwise.

I'd use for one or several borders , the brighter colors: red, blue, etc., perhaps with the cream in between, so they'd alternate. Babies like bright colors and can see them better than pastels. All my baby things were bright colors, if made by me.

Som mother will be very lucky to get this baby quilt. Babies love bright colors, why not make the binding out of all your primary colors. I have done that before and it turns out very well.

It's looking great. I would use bright colors to border the blocks. Babies love bright colors.

I think a color not used in the quilt center would look nice or make a scrapy border using the colors used in there already. I am sure it will look realy nice however you finish it.

Well, I finished my first baby quilt for a young couple we know. I think the quilt is cute. The finished pictures are below. You can see the before picture on page one. Tell me what you think. I am now starting on my niece's first baby's quilt. Will let you see it after I am finished

Thanks,
JOY
