did you notice she a special one because she was produced as a Centennial model - those go for more money.

My GD Lily was here today. I told her I wanted the name the sewing machine Miss Lily and she giggled and thought that was a GREAT idea!

She is a beauty....and I'm so glad to hear that you are actually going to use her!!!

Yes - according to Billy's instructions on refurbishing and restoring, Turtle car wax helps to protect. I've been applying to my restoration projects as a last step....with the added bonus that my fabric just glides! It glides so well that I've started polishing up the bed of my old machine before doing FMQing!!! It really helps.
