Since I want to use this machine, is there something I should do to protect them? Some type of polish or any other suggestions? I hate to see them get worn.
I use an ordinary Silicone spray polish on mine, which I do for all of my machines as it helps the fabric move smooth but also protects the machine.

Thanks for the advice! My DH bought Meguiar's car cleaner wax for working on our old 201 that needs a lot of help. I didn't know if I should use on the 99.

What kind of silicone spray did you use? Is there a brand name?

That is the brand that I've been using. There is one type of paste wax that has something in it that can harm the decals. I can't remember exactly what it is but I'll try to look to see which type it is.

I'm so envious when you guys find these great machines at outstanding prices. I've been looking for so long - but I really want the right one for the right price. Had I seen this one - for this price - I wouldn't have hesitated for even a second. Nice find - Very nice find!
