Sorry about your brother. 20 years ago today we lost one of our brothers. Hope this quilt helps heal his daughter. It's lovely. BrendaK

Your niece's life was touched with sadness by the death of her father but you have provided wonderful memories by making her this wonderful quilt. I know she will always treasure it. I am sure that it was a healing project for you also. There is something special about projects that are made or received because of life's most emotional experiences.

My Father dies when I was 9 years old. I wish someone had made me a memorial quilt like that. That is really sweet. You are so cool and thoughtful to do that for your niece. I'm sure she will cherish it for the rest of her life. I love the quilting on it. Did you do that yourself? It would take me a month to do that. That is sewing everyday all day long. What a labor of love. You did a gorgous job, perhaps out did yourself. I do that with every quilt I make. It just keeps getting better and better. So sorry for your loss. My sincere sympathy and prayers are with you every day.

What a lovely quilt and a wonderful memorial for his daughter. You did a superb job. I have had my dad's ties for years and just have not been able to work on them yet but I think you have inspired me and instructed me what to do. Love the way you made the pattern too. Thank you
