What a wonderful quilt. And an awesome thing for you both to do.
I had a friend of my brothers stop me in Walmart the other day to ask me if I would make 2 memory quilts for children of a friend of hers who died from cancer. They are young too. I told her We could do it. I think she needs to be involved since I know nothing about her friend.
What a lovely memory for the family

Your collaboration with your friend has proved remarkable once again. Her design and your soft whimisical quilting has created a quilt that is soft and consoling. I'm sure this quilt will bring a lifetime of comfort. I wished I'd thought of that when my died. You truly have a gift when it comes to reading a quilt and it's owner, then producing a quilting masterpiece that says,"created with love and guidance."

It is so beautiful, such a wonderful gift of comfort. Thanks so much for expressing your special feelings from your part of the process. I've read many times when you have felt so grateful to be a part of someone's special quilt. I can tell you are a very dear person.
