An older one, btw, the cabinet is more common to the Wheeler & Wilson machines...

I believe it is a Wheeler and Wilson machine but that is about all I have found out.

Sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law. She really left you a beautiful gift. I'll bet she knew how much you would love and care for Clara Marie.
