I'm totally out of touch but this is a great quilt and I can understand why she likes it so much.

Great quilt - it looks easy enough for me to make! My grandson would love it, too!
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

Thanks it was actually pretty challenging, all those 2 inch squares and making sure all the seams lines up. But the look on her face when she opened it was priceless

This quilt is fabulous and would have been a big hit in my family, too, a few years ago. Congratulations!

I never thought of a quilt, but I did make several Minecraft figures (dolls) a few years ago for a grandson, who was then very into Minecraft: the Steve, the long limbed black figure (whatever he is), the little green creature -- you can see I don't know the names of any of these characters! -- and one other which I forget. Not sure I took photos of any of them. Made of fleece and stuffed. He was thrilled with them at the time.

Of course she loved it. It's ideal for a Minecraft lover. I made a Minecraft quilt once as a donation in memory of 4 local kids killed in a house fire. One of the kids had loved Minecraft. I asked my young son (who was into Minecraft as well--but not quilts-- to help with the layout of all those small green, tan, black pieces). More challenging than I expected, but turned out cute.

I cried many tears while stitching it, and did lots of praying.

    This was mine:
