I made this a couple weeks ago for my DDL's birthday. She's a teacher & avid reader.
I used the pattern on Moda Bakeshop but just did a small section. All scraps & titles are from my saved selvages.

Cute as a button -- love the way you titled the books.

I love the use of selvages! I've wanted to do one of these, but I don't have an embroidery machine for the titles (and it would take me a LONG time to do them by hand). I'll have to keep an eye on the selvages I trim and save back ones that are appropriate for this. Thanks for the inspiration.
