Default Mini Card Trick Quilt - ARGH!

I would much rather quilt something larger! This is okay - not great, needed to do this over and over again to get it right! This was a pain.

The pattern had a few stated measurements there weren't correct. Mine is 10 1/2 x 14 1/2. The pattern said to use 3" second border and when I made it that way it looked way too wide for this tiny quilt...mine has a 2 1/4" border - and my quilt is larger than the pattern quoted.

The colors are turquoise, hot pink, light green with dots and a light grey patterned fabric. I should have had the pink next across from turquoise. The photo makes the hot pink look red.

That is a great little quilt! I understand the minis are harder to make than the full sized blocks?

Yes, mini is more difficult. Fun to try - I think I'll do another just to see if I learned anything this go around!

I see what you mean about having the hot pink across from the blue rather than next to it, but you did a good job nonetheless and learned something in the process, right?

It came out lovely. I did a mini a couple of years ago - wanted to pull my hair out.
