Angie, you were such a good friend to Brenda, and thank you for sharing with us. You were right to not wait until you 'got better at it' - and you know she wasn't looking for mistakes! Yes, it's hard to lose her, but you have some good memories, too. I hope those make it easier for you. Bless you for helping make he final year as pleasant as possible.

I'm so sorry, you must be missing her terribly. But that was so special of you to share your photos with us, because you were sharing part of your special friendship with her, with all of us, thank you (((hugs)))

Sounds like you were two peas in a pod and very lucky to have each other. I love the things you made.

I hope sweet memories replace your sadness soon. This is Memorial Day weekend and I know it is a difficult time for all that have lost loved ones. God bless all of us... Take time to remember their beauty and what they gave us. Hug those that we still have near and dear to us. You made beautiful gifts, what a comfort they were. Love to all. Quilter 1234

SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS---IT IS NEVER EASY TO LOSE A FRIEND BUT YOU SHOULD BE PROUD THAT YOU WERE THERE FOR HER, WITH THE QUILT, WALL HANGING, SCARF AND COVER UP THROUGH IT ALL. I LOST MY BEST FRIEND FROM HIGHSCHOOL 2 YEARS AGO THIS COMING SEPTEMBER---SHE WAS DIABETIC MOST OF HER LIFE, AND DEVELOPED CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE, DEGENERATIVE EYE DISEASE, AND KIDNEY FAILURE IN THE LATER YEARS. I HAD MOVED AWAY SOME YEARS AGO AND WHAT WITH THE DAY TO DAY THINGS OF RAISING OUR FAMILIES, WE LOST TOUCH. I DID CONTACT HER THE YEAR BEFORE VIA SNAIL MAIL AT FIRST AND THEN EMAIL AND WE TALKED CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL HER DEATH, BUT I WILL NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF FOR NOT JUMPING ON A PLANE IMMEDIATELY TO GO SEE HER EVEN THOUGH SHE NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT THE CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE BECAUSE I HAD JUST LOST MY MOM THE YEAR BEFORE TO THAT DISEASE. I MISS HER IMMENSELY. YOU ARE A GREAT FRIEND AND SHE KNEW IT. PLEASE TAKE SOME PEACE IN THAT.
