DGD Josie, 11 1/2, told me the quilt I made her when she was a baby was too getting too small, especially when she went to a friend's for a sleepover. I made her a quick scappy quilt and one for her brother Ben. They both have twin sized quilts for their beds but these lap quilts are more useful for fun things.

Floral quilt is one huge log cabin block. Not all of the strips are the same size and extra strips were added on the top and bottom to make the quilt a rectangle. DH had trouble holding it up so I could get the whole quilt in the picture but you can get the idea from what I captured. May in Jersey

Josie's lap quilt, lots of girlie fabrics in this one, even one "Josie" fabric.
