I've been looking at this fabric for awhile at Whittle's and finally ordered some. I don't know why I procrastinate... I always end up buying it in the end when it catches my eye. :P I like the modern, subdued look of the browns and grays. I ordered a yard of all but the 4 different stripes.

I wanted a very simple pattern to go with it, not too fussy, and saw this one on the free patterns at United Notions (Moda). Not hard to do in EQ and I imported the fabrics. The fabric scale is not really right which is a whole other discussion but I think it captures the overall feel. It reminds me of Japanese taupes.

Pam,.
I just love this Mocha Meringue collection!! :D
Do you buy a lot of fabric from this compamy?
I think the prices are wonderful. I will be
anxious to see if you get it & how the finished
project looks!! Thank you for sharing.

Pam---thanks for the link to Whittle's---I have never been to their site and it is wonderful.
Your quilt is going to be really neat---it reminds me of the Japanese taupes too.
I cannot even begin to keep up with all your projects. You are a great, PROLIFIC quilter!! It is hard to believe you have a job AND actually sleep too!!!

That will be very nice. It looks like it will go together quickly too! The quilts with the simple patterns can become so stunning when you use special fabric! Looking forward to seeing it when you're working on it. I've ordered from Whittles before...very happy with the fabric and speed of processing the order! :)

I order A LOT from Whittle's. The shipping is very fast and if I place an order in the morning I will usually get an email later that day notifying me that it has shipped. Can't beat the $3.50 per yard and it is quality fabric. That's almost 1/3 the price of some of the fabrics that I've seen elsewhere for $9.
I've hardly worked on anything all week because my daughter and grandchildren are living with me again while looking for a house. It's going to take months to do the Patriotic quilt at this rate which annoys me because there are so many things I have planned to do.
