I really like the pink and green quilt, what is the name of the pattern or who made it?

Mom (age 91) finished one with duplicate skateboards that I gave her. Also pictured is a large quilt she made from blocks given to her by a friend. Both are now ready for the Bible Camp quilt auction. They were machine quilted by a longarmer.

I wish I lived closer to her, but we quilt together whenever we can!
Wow, she did this at 91. It's great. I should be so lucky.

Thank you for the compliment! I believe the quilt pattern is called "In Bloom", but I don't know the company. Mom's friend took a class several years ago with her daughters. The blocks were partly sashed in beige, and she didn't like how that looked, so the blocks were put away. Last summer she brought them to Mom to finish. Mom took off the sashing and with the help of my sister and niece selected the sashing and border fabrics that you see.

I just talked to Mom and got more information. The designer is Jackie Robinson from Animas Quilts. The "In Bloom" pattern is available at: http://pumpkincreekfabrics.com/catal...age=4&sale=yes

The colors and block arrangement are different from the choices on Mom's quilt. She actually said that looking at the pattern picture, she could barely recognize it as the same quilt!

I love making skate board quilts.!! I have made several of them, using odd ball large scale prints.
Here's one of mine: http://tinyurl.com/hoyod7v
