These are some more of the hotpads and such that I sell to the local gift shop. I have tried to only post things that I haven't posted before but if I goof and include something you have already seen bear with me!

You will see alot of Hotpads as they are my best seller.

WOW nice! I am working on something similar on the small scale and have found this is not my place! But has to be done! The hours that go into that sort of thing--do you make enough to make it worthwhile?

I have been doing this for 15 yrs and I sell to a local store so I have a guaranteed sale every time. I do feel I make enough to do what I want to do. I don't get rich but it is satisfying.

    Those are SO CUTE!!! :D

Do you just use batting for the "pad" part? I've got some random quilt blocks that I'll probably never put in a quilt, but they're just the right size for that!

She was supposed to get to go home later this week. I am going to call my MIL and see how Faith is doing. Just haven't done it yet.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. This is my favorite thing to do - working with miniatures. It is so satisfying as an artist. I feel like I am creating pictures in each miniature quilt top I make. I love being able to do what I love to do! If I wasn't selling I would still be doing this as it is my expression of love and my art.

I love your use of color. That is one area I have a hard time with most of the time. I need that inspirational fabric to get me going. Thanks for sharing you ideas and use of color.

Love your little mini's Rhonda, I'm glad you have a place to sell these, cause that makes it fun too, Does this shop you sell them at get a percentage of what you sell?
I use to do this at a near by shop, but unfortunately they had to close up because of the economy. I absolutely loved going in there and talking with my customers.
Good luck to you, Your work is fantastic.

Rhonda, you've outdone yourself on these. I don't recall any of them from before. The purple & blue really pop on some of them. Great color combinations & I know they'll sell like hotcakes, or are they already sold???

Thanks everyone. These are things that have been made and sold long ago. I just went back through my pics to see what I hadn't posted yet that I could share with you all. In 15 yrs I have made a few hundred hotpads! LOL the other stuff has been in the last 5 yrs or so. I got my comp in 06 so these are things I have made since then and sold.

Belmer I sell to the store and then she adds what she wants to it. Usually it is double what I sell it for. So I sell the hotpads for $7 and they sell for her for $14. Some people have bought 10 at a time at $14 that is $140! I wouldn't give that personally!! I am amazed she gets what she does out of them.
