Oh my gosh look at that quilting, gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous.. I have not done one of the traditional Lone Stars yet. It is a matter of picking out all those fabrics. But I like the pattern just because it has lots of places to quilt. I am in love with feathers. Your feathers are wonderful

Thank you all. I wouldn't want to show it too closely as it is so far from perfect that perfect is on another quilt! :)

I hope I can get it done today and tomorrow that I'm off work. I have some more ripping to do that I noticed when I rolled it up on the take-up bar and saw the back.

Bet I know which one, courtesy of Green Fairy ;) She has done one of mine and it is LA to strive for, I can just stare at her quilting for hours. That said, you are absolutely no slacker in that department. Looks like you have been practicing! Your feather fill is just beautiful. I draw feathers a lot and can pratically draw them in my sleep. Have not attempted translating that to the LA though but am diligently working on a quilt that will test my doodling skills.
