    More treasure from trash

I received a pile of fabric sample books from a fellow Freecycle member. Here's the newest thing I made with the fabrics. It's a table runner. The center square is from a fabric sample and most of the fabric in the same color is also from that set of fabric samples. The other bits are either from my scrap pile or a great collection of small pieces that a generous QB member sent to me.

I started with the center and worked my way out - mostly symmetrically. It's a little wonky but I don't strive for perfection. I'm happy with it!

Very nicely done! Wonkiness is just a design element.

It looks terrific to me!! And I love the fabric mix - very bright and "welcome Spring!!!" (which we really need after this winter we've all been having!!)
Perfection can be over-rated. Besides, if I had a "perfect" table runner, I wouldn't want to use it on my table for fear of it getting "messed up". "Wonky" is permission to use it and enjoy it!!
Free is my 2nd favorite 4-letter word (Love is my most favorite!).
    Great job!!

This is wonderful. Love your center block. Was staring at that so much I didn't notice wonky!

It's a great table runner. I've received sample fabrics before that I made into charity quilts.

Wonky also proves it was made by a person, not an industrial complex. Works for me!
