    So cute!

You need to visit your sewing machine often. You are very creative.

BTW, congratulations on your newest bundle of joy.

Thank you all for the nice words,
The photo I used for a guide for this on was pieced blocks.....but I screwed up right out of the gate so that's why it's appliqued

DIL was having some pain and was rushed to hospital Sunday evening, she still in hospital but complete rest. She is only 33 weeks. Now we Found out last night her water had broke so they are going to induce Monday morning, if she hasn't delivered before then. She will be 34 weeks then and baby will have a better chance then (lung deleopment etc)

sooo.... might not be quilted in time.

I guess that 2 year rest was something you needed. This quilt is charming.

Cute pattern and lively colors. The baby is lucky to have a grandmother who came out of a slump.

Wow, I have never been away from my sewing for that long. I would go into serious withdrawel I think. Or take on another creative outlet.

Your wallhanging brought you back in awesome form though. That is about the cutest little thing I've seen in ages and is sure to be a great addition to your little granddaughter's room that can easily be enjoyed for many years. Nice job.

Love your baby quilt - the pocket opening for a doll is so cute. Those slumps are challenging. Mine has been going on for six months after breaking fingers. Don't know what happened to my motivation? You give me hope.

How cute is that? The slump is over and you're back in with a huge success!! Hope your baby GD arrives safely and that all is well with her Mom, too!

That might be a Georgia Bonesteel (from Hendersonville, NC) pattern. Think it is in one of her books.
