    I am working on a little applique design today. How do you like it so far? I designed it from my a sketch in my journal:)

    well I guess choosing inside and outside borders then making a sandwich with batting and backing and one straight stitch around a raw edge:)

    Really like your goats. I get to see many real ones in Glacier National Park in the summer - though this year there is still so much snow it will be a while before the snow plows clear the road for traffic. The goats and Bighorn sheep are so fun to watch.
    How will you finish your creation?

    well I will add an inner border and an outer border.
    Then make a sandwich with batting and backing and sew one straight stich around the raw edges using Aurifil Thread.
    I just might make a free pattern out of it and put it on my blog:)

    I love it! Perfect fabric choices too. You really captured their individual personalities. :) I'm gonna have to keep my eyes open for a FQ of your background fabric.
