I love this bag! It is beautiful and I also like the scooped side. Very, very nice! Just FYI - a friend of mine who asked me to make a tote for her with some vintage fabric she gave me was disappointed because the straps were too short for her to carry her bag on her shoulder. Personally, I love these straps. But it is a thought. Yolanda Wood River

Such a beautiful bag! And out of Batik's also! I'm going to have to try this one too! My bow tuck is the perfect size for shows and weekends away and this one looks close. Thanks for sharing

Next time someone asks you to sew a tote, have them hold their bag where they want it to "rest" and then measure from one point on the bag over there shoulder, to the bag again. then add an inch or so for the seam allowance. Works well when you're sewing for others!!!
