Oh my gosh, there was an old old large poster of Burt Reynolds back in the sixties in that exact same pose!!! My BFF got it for me because at that time my hubby looked so much like Burt they could have been brothers. Somehow, during multiple moves over the years, the poster disappeared but this brings back memories.

Had a great time at the party and my friend loved "Mr. October"!! My DH and I went as skeletons, we were the only skeletons there!! Oh my, are we dating ourselves with the comments about Burt Reynolds. Wasn't it a centerfold in Cosmopolitan magazine? I remember the pose, etc. Also, didn't Joe Namath do a similar pose but with pantyhose on?

DH just had to use all the props to show he was the model for the wall hanging. HA!! Can't believe he didn't have me make a witches hat for him too!! Had great fun!!

Thanks to all for the kind comments. Now on to other projects, Christmas wall hanging, 2 Christmas lap quilts (wall-hangings), and my original Dresden plate sunflower quilt (this I started months ago and may finished it eventually, like after Christmas)!! Oh yeah, I forgot the two quilts that I have squares completed by my GM back in the early 1900s. So many quilts, so little time. Also sewing a Christmas tree skirt for our church! Whew, makes me tired just thinking about it all!! I need to get busy! Thanks again!!
