I found this quilt today at my local GoodWill store. I just could not pass it up. It was stuffed in a large clear plastic bag that said "quilt $2.00 Do Not Open"..I could not really tell what kind of shape it was in but I thought for 2 $ what the heck. I couldn't wait to get home and dig into the bag and see what it looked like. I was thrilled, it was like "Christmas"!!!! It's in great shape, it has 2 small patches that are frayed but can easily be fixed. I was very pleased. I know someone took a lot of time piecing this quilt together. It's queen size.

It looks like it is double knit. My grandma made some double knit quilts fifteen years ago. I will have to take pictures of them. She tacked them and did not quilt them.
