Love garage sales but walking is hard for me so my husband scouts out the sales and calls me if he sees something I might like. He has made many good deals for me. I also love shopping at thrift stores. Walking is easier and slower on even flooring. You made a great buy.

We had a founder's day in my hometown in Ga last week & i stopped in at this yard sale as i was stuck behind the parade & after inquiring about fabrics,,the lady said hold on, I think grandma has some and then proceeded to bring out 4 huge totes of fabrics that had been brought from TG&Y, LQS & WM (when they 1st opened up) Most of them had never been cut into! Anywhere from 1 -6 yards were in those boxes of all flowered old-fashioned materials plus 2 quilting books for $17.00. Tried to get the treadle too but not for sale!
