Makes me happy for you but sad to think that someone put so much into that quilt and how the previous owner didn't value it. I am so glad that someone who appreciates and understands all of the work involved is now it's new owner.

Whoa! This one is worth at least $500! Lucky for you and too bad for them, they did not know what they had! Glad a quilter who can respect it's beauty has it now!

Lovely, lucky you! A few years ago we lost an aunt and her kids sold all of her quilts for $5 each before my mother (her sister) got there. My mother still cries about them. I guess if you are not a quilter you just don't understand it. The good thing is this quilt has gone to a home that will appreciate it!
